Steps we take for sealing driveways, parking lots and anything asphalt.
First... We completely clean the asphalt surface.
The condition and cleanlyness of the project determines the cleaning process. We use a combination of high pressure blowers and broomming. If the area is stained from oils or is very dirty we will pressure wash those sections of the job.

Second... We fill cracks that are larger than 1/8" wide.
We clean the cracks with a heat lance and then fill it with hot tar. Deep cracks are packed with sand a 1/2" from the surface.
Third... We carefully brush and squeegee around all concrete and decorative areas.
We take time and pride in keeping our jobs looking neat, with no over-spray. We know how important cleanlyness is to our customers.
Fourth... We Spray or Squeegee the remanding areas of the project.
Depending on the job we will either spray or squeegee the rest of the project. If the job is surrounded by concrete edges we will squeegee and broom the entire project to protect the decorative edges. If there is not any edging will prefer to spray the entire project.

Fifth...Applying the second coat!
We always apply two coats! After the first coat completely dries we apply the second coat following the same steps that we already discussed.
